My Top Makeup Picks

1.  Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer.  This is a FANTASTIC concealer and it's only $7.  It's oil-free, talc-free, and fragrance free.   I think everybody should give it a try.  After reading lots of fabulous reviews about it I decided to try it.  I loved it.  I also recommended it to my mom and she loved it.  Now this isn't a full cover concealer, for one of those you would need to look somewhere like Sephora, but this should make pretty much any blemish unnoticeable.

2.  Neutrogena Oil-fre Acne Wash.  I have acne and this totally helped.  My dermatologist recommended it to me and it costs around $7.  This stuff is fantastic, just use at night and in the morning and it should keep mild acne under control.  I can't go a day without this stuff.

3.  Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion.  I love this mascara, it's nice and fine.  It creates pretty, natural looking lashes.  It doesn't clump and is not heavy.  I especially like this mascara because of how it makes my face look, after applying it it just picks up my face.  It doesn't make you eyelashes HUGE, but it elongates them and makes them noticeable.  It's around $9, and totally worth it.

That's all I have time for today, but I will probably be expanding on this list in the future.  Again, if you have any beauty related questions just leave me a comment or a message and I will find you an answer.  Au revoir!

4 Tips to Fuller Looking Lips

  •    Highlight you cupids bow.  In case you don't know, your cupids bow is that place in the middle of your upper lip that makes the shape of the top of a heart.  Get a white eyeliner pencil or if you don't have one you can use white eyeshadow or highlighter and apply the product to the skin right along the edge of you cupids bow.  Blend into you skin if needed.
  •  After appyling your lip color, apply some kind of lipgloss to the middle of you bottom lip, right at the thickest part.  Make that part extra glossy.
  • I figured this next tip out myself.  If you are familiar with contouring this should be easy.  Select a shade of powder makeup (can be eyeshadow, bronzer or one of the darker colors of a contouring pallete) in a matte neautral skin tone.  It needs to be darker than your own skin tone.  Using your finger or an eyeshadow brush lightly apply this color right under the thick middle part of your bottom lip where there is naturally a shadow.  You are simply accentuating this shadow.  With contouring, you have to be carefull not to apply too much product.  The makeup under your lip should not be apparent
  • This last tip is only for people going for a dramatic or goth look.  Be carefull with this one it can start looking extreme very quickly.  Take some black product (black lipstick if you have some would be ideal, but if you have black cream eyeliner or possibly some black cream or powder eyeshadow) and very carefully and lightly apply this to the outer corners of your lips and the inside of both lips ( the places where the lips touch when the mouth is closed).  Blend in the black with your lip color.
I hoped this helped! I'm sorry if it's kinda hard to follow.  If you have any beauty related questions, leave me a comment or send me a message and I will find you an answer! Au Revoir!

PAT DON"T RUB

The key to blending concealer is patting.  Many people rub their concealer in an attempt to blend their conealer but in reality you just end in rubbing it right off.  Trust me, I've been through this it is really frustrating.  Then, in all the hours I have spent reading about makeup, and watching makeup artists on youtube, I came accross the key to perfect conealer application.  Here it is: 1. apply your concealer with either a concealer brush, clean fingertip, or the applicator that comes with the concealer (if there is one) to the skin discoloration you wish to hide.  2. Take your bare, clean fingertip and gently pat the concealer, pressing the product into your skin.  3.  Take some kind of face powder (loose or pressed) onto a small brush (like an eyeshadow brush should do just fine) and gently pat that over the concealer.  This "sets" the concealer so it will stay put longer.  (always make sure to set all the liquid product that you apply to your face with powder. )

If you have any questions about any kind of makeup and skincare, just leave me a comment or send me a message and I will find you an answer.  Thanks! bye.
